Before you start

Availability: Plan and role requirements vary. Enabled business features, role permissions, connected providers and supported devices may add requirements.

Documented roles: Owner, Office, Team. A role name alone does not override the permissions set by your business.

Where to find it: Scan a supplier price list.

Prepare a legible supplier list and confirm your Pricebook editing permission. Standard OCR is available without enabling AI where supported by the server.

Step by step

  1. Open Pricebook > Advanced > Scan a supplier price list.
  2. Choose clear, straight-on source images or a supported PDF and use Read price list. Check the displayed file limits and server availability.
  3. Review every extracted product, unit and price before saving it to the Pricebook. Correct reading errors and duplicate matches.
  4. Reopen the saved material and check its supplier and cost. Use Stock separately when you intend to create inventory or change physical quantities.

Worked example

Read a clear fictional supplier page for conduit sold in packs. In the extracted review, compare its SKU, pack unit and price with the image before saving and reopening the Pricebook row.

This is an illustrative scenario. Use your own approved scope, quantities, rates and business rules.

Check the result

Reopen the original record or confirmed result, check its business and key values, and resolve any error or uncertain response before repeating the action.

Limits and troubleshooting

Server OCR availability and optional AI extraction vary. Scanning a price is not a stock receipt, supplier order or guarantee of current contract pricing.
